CIM 4 is the latest, and boldest, revision of PH Tech’s CIM services.
PH Tech Leadership took the company’s own advice, and performed a “rethink” process on the future of CIM; what needed to be improved and what needed to be added to keep up with technology.
Bold steps were outlined, and even bolder actions applied. The development staff had to be expanded, not only in physical body count, but also in knowledge. A new development methodology had to be put in place in order to keep up with the daily changes of technology. New functionalities and services had to be engineered.
All this has been accomplished, with CIM 4 being the result.
CIM 4 is designed to be modular, easily maintainable, and to work with and for the existing CIM services (now referred to as CIM 3).
With the first deployment of the CIM 4 framework in March of 2011, the future got closer.
The CIM 4 framework allows the quick deployment of well thought out feature modules. Agile (the new development methodology) allows for quick coding and continuous testing. And the deep knowledge base and skill sets of the expanded software engineering staff put it all to good use.
CIM 4 is already proving its worth with improvements to CIM 3 search functions and with the speedy development iterations of the latest PH Tech service; Program Oriented Payment (POP).
For current customers, CIM 4 improvements will soon become commonplace events. And as the CIM 4 modules increase in number, users will appreciate how workflows accomplish more throughput.
